    Townline Easter eggers

Ordered a total of ten of the ameraucanas from tsc/townline for myself and a neighbor and they were EE's, every one of them. Yes...I'm sure they know better.

    Townline Easter eggers

Oh, additionally, I don't have pictures but the typical chipmunk colors they had as chicks have turned into predominately gold and brown coloration as adults and they lay 5-6 eggs per week, on average, I would say.

    Townline Easter eggers

Hi. I shared an order with another individual and i only took 3 EE's. One ended up being a rooster. The two girls took 37 and 40 weeks to lay. They can definitely teach you patience. Both lay pretty green eggs. They came from townline through tsc.

Breeding Easter Eggers with Easter Eggers?

So, it is the time of year when some of us realize our order of pullets also contains a rooster. I only ordered three Easter Eggers and with this I have one who is starting to make funny morning noises. I have absolutely no experience breeding so I am wondering if anyone knows what I would get...

    Easter eggers and Silkies

Thanks for your reply. Your chicks look happy and healthy. Maybe I will try to have some alternative accomadations for some silkies, if I can't make it work with my current group of EE's.

    Easter eggers and Silkies

Thank you for the reply. If you have silkies, what recommendations would you make for coop arrangement if I were to house them separately from the others?

    Easter eggers and Silkies

Thank you for the advice. Much appreciated! I already have the easter eggers but not the silkies so no chance of them growing up together. :-(

    Easter eggers and Silkies

Does anyone have any experience integrating Silkies with Easter eggers? I have a few easter egger chicks. It is my understanding that they are a particularly docile chicken. This is what I read about silkies as well so I wondered if they could cohabitate without too many issues.

    Townline Easter eggers

I've purchased some ameraucanas from tsc and they are coming from townline hatcheries this week. Very nervous as now that I have gone to townlines' website, they don't seem to carry ameraucanas. I'm seeing that they advertise the EE's. I've been waiting a couple of months thinking they would...

    special order form tsc, help!!

If you ordered from that form as I am about to do, I was wondering 1) did you order more than one breed? and 2) was there any way to tell the breeds apart upon arrival? My neighbors and I wanted to get a mix of RIR and Ameraucanas. Thanks, Leslie
