One on my silkies has the same looking things on its comb. I picked one off with a tweezer and it was really stuck on there it made it bleed. I have never used dewormer on my chickens. So its not dewormer. I thing its some kind of fungus.
My wyandotte pullet jumped on my young silkie's back and pecked him in the head. Now he is acting very strange. He just sits there with his head down. He did this one time before when he got beat up by one of my hens(that I got rid of becuz of it) but by the next day he was fine. Has this ever...
I dont know if you only want pullets/hens but I will have a nice white rooster and show quality white cockeral for sale at the swap. I know a couple other people should have silkies too.

My Hen is sitting on 4 catdance eggs that are due to hatch on Wednesday. 2 Whites and 2 porcelain. I am so excited . These will be my first chicks! Yay!
Maybe its just a white thing. My whites are 10 months also and they do the same thing. They will lay for a week or so then nothing for a while. But my splash lays all the time. If you find out why this is let me know
