I think I may have just hatched a frazzle. Her mom is a bantam Cochin frizzle (the only frizzle I have). This little bird is three days old and isn't fuzzy like her 4 siblings. She has wiry hair-like feathers and is bald underneath. My friend and I decided to name her scruff. :)
Her neck is limp, but she can lift it when she walks. She is standing mostly but I did see her sit down with the other chickens. No cough, sneeze or heavy breathing as far as I can tell. I had trouble getting her to drink, but she was able to eat food with the other chickens. She was wobbly...
I went out to check on my younger chickens and I noticed one of them was still in the little coop.
She is not moving around very much and is having trouble lifting her head. The sides of her legs are red and her face looks swollen. Does anyone know how I can help her?
