I did that and mine were fine! Well until now... I am just waiting! We are at day 20!!

mamachickie dip the beak in the water... that is what I have done in the past. And I noticed with my chicks that they sleep alot! I just had to make sure that they had food water and were not pasting up and they did just fine! Oh yea and plenty of heat!

I am new to incubating and I have my little ones to day 20. Should I be seeing anything yet? or is this too early to see eggs shaking?

I love my ORPS!!! They are the sweetest chickens in the world. And this website says that they only lay like 3 eggs a week, mine lay for about 9 days and then take a day off. They are the kindest most giving little ladies! I do love them so!

I am hatching for the first time! I have silkie/polish crosses as well as frizzle cochin/barnyard crosses!! I am so excited because each one is a little different so most definitely a surprise!!
