    Omg, my maran has those spots, they just appeared about 3 weeks ago as well. Have you had any luck finding out what they are?

    What to do with newly hatched chicks??

    Will my hens or rooster bother my newly hatched chicks? I am so afraid they are going to hurt them. But really don't want to separated and then have to worry about reintroducing them! UGH! This is my first time, can you tell!

    Why does my chicken lay brown and white eggs?

    My hens have also been laying "ombre" eggs. A single egg colored dark brown fading into cream. What could bee causing this? Diet perhaps?
