you replied to one of my posts awhile back and said that you may have some Royal Palm turkey poults available...was just wondering if you do. thanks Michele
My son has decided he wants to try Royal Palm turkeys for his 4H project this year. Does anyone in PA or close by have some poults that they would like to sell
Thanks so much...our Welsummer does come from good stock so I was pretty confident in putting him in the fancy class. The Aracauna is hatchery stock so I wasn't sure. The problem is that our fair is very small...maybe 20 or so kids showing poultry so they do not have a lot of classes and it...
I hope this is the right place to post this...I'm getting the paperwork ready to get my son's 4H birds tested for the fair. There are only 2 classes for the standard size hens and roos..production and large, fancy. We have a Welsummer and an Aracauna (at least thats what i think she is). What...
hoping someone can help me out QUICK....I'm getting my son's paperwork ready to poultry testing for 4H...we only have 2 classes for the standard size birds...large fancy or production...which class does his Welsummer Roo fit in? Please help...and thanks
I"m gonna have my son take a look when he gets home from school and see what he thinks (if I'd let him and if we had the space..he'd take them all lol)
The silkies...do you have any idea yet if they are hens or roosters...the reason I ask is that we have a little silkie roo who is a mean...
My son is in need of some bantam chickens for 4H...He isn't set on any particular kind yet. Just wondering if anyone close to me has anything available. We are in Central PA (bout halfway between State College and Williamsport) We're willing to travel a little to pick up. Thanks so much

I'm sorry your kitty is sick, but I'm curious as to why they have to keep him at the vets?
I recently had to take KiKi to the vet for a probable kidney stone and resulting UTI. They didn't keep her. I gave her the antibiotics at home that the vet had prescribed, as well increased her...
My cat is at the vet right now being treated for a urinary tract infection. When I took him on Monday, I explained to them that I just could not afford to put a lot of money into him. I love him dearly but money is tight. The girl who took him back said that probably worst case scenario was...
Thanks for all the suggestions
The legs and the supports ( i think they're 2X4's) are treated wood. They're not exposed to the inside of the pen at all so the bunnies can't get to them. We have the hardware cloth attached to the inside of the frame.
The floor isn't open, it's solid because of...
Unfortunately that isn't a pull out tray. That is one thing he said he wished he would have done different. So far, they seem to be doing their business in one corner so that makes for easy cleanup. I actually thought about getting a couple of those corner litter boxes at the pet store to see...
. I was so proud of him when he finished these in less than 2 weeks. We're still deciding if we're going to paint some of the exterior and we may have to make their sleeping area a little bigger. My son has Flemish Giants that he got for 4H to show at the fair. I couldn't resist adding pics of...

I have to say, my mom always packed me peanut butter and jelly and to this day I love it. I guess it all depends on your tastes. My kids would rather buy their lunch at school. It doesn't really matter to me as long as they eat it.
Thank you so much for our dear rooster, Cornflake. He is settling in just fine and has taken a liking to our Rhode Island Red pullet. Now we just need to find some Welsummer hens. I may even get brave and try to get some eggs to hatch.
