I did that and the duckling made this awful noise like it was in tremendous pain, so I took it off. I have done this in the past and never had an issue with it. We have a vet appointment in the morning, so I'm hoping he will have some recommendations.

They just ignore her. Yesterday I put just one in with her and that one ignored her also. I've been keeping her with me and trying to hold her a lot, especially at night when we're watching TV.
