Our chicken yard is like a free for all! Turkeys trying to top guineas, roosters trying to top guineas and chickens. We've not witnessed a guinea trying to top anything other than a guinea. However... have you ever had this happen... and I have video to prove it... one MALE turkey started...
Hen on nest bitten so badly by these useless insects that she can't open her eyes. I'm giving her antibiotic and trying to feed her to keep her going. A bit of probios as well as it seems to be good for everything. How can I treat her eyes to get them to open. She's acting strong otherwise...
Thank you so much, again. Just hearing from someone makes me feel better. Right now we have an ace bandage on her but am getting vet wrap today. She is in one of our horse stalls with her chicks but we're going to move her to a smaller pen (not too small for the chicks though).

I posted earlier about a young hen with a foot problem. We went to feed up and found one of our turkey hens (with chicks) has a broken wing. WHAT DO WE DO!
I've posted a similiar issue but it's all three toes being folded back when walking. I made a cardboard piece to fit her foot, spread her toes out and taped her foot there. She's eating/drinking fine and is resting. I'm hoping she heals. Let me know if you find anything out.
I've posted something similiar but haven't gotten a response yet. I'm just guessing here but would think the healing of a tendon would be the same for anyone/thing. Maybe look up what is done for a pulled tendon in a human.
Young hen fine one moment... hour or so later she's walking but with her foot folded underneath her. (Ours are free roam chickens.) Doesn't act like there's any pain. It's not her leg... it's below the ankle part. I've confined her and have a make-shift cardboard piece taped under her foot...
