I second that, "lovely pics" .....I was eating at the time and even though I have a stomach of steel, the pics made me want to stop lookin' at them.
But, thanks for the poo-picks....very helpful, gritsar :)
My chicks are getting so big! I went to see my parents for Mother's Day....gone for a few days, and when I got back home....they had grown so much! I will have to take some more close-up pics......May 18th they will be 2 weeks old....the picks should be interesting.
Btw, lightchick....your new...
Not sure if you got Reds....they usually start out a def. rusty color, not yellow. Could be New Hamp's??? Time will tell.
Deleware's start out yellow too....who knows?? :) Just have fun with them. :)

I am partial to Rhode Island Reds, but I am liking the Australorp's so far. :)
Good luck to you and your wife....chicken farming is fun.....can't wait...
Awww....she's cute. :) Heck, there all cute....when they are little. lol

I have raised chickens before, but it has been several years.....my boyfriend wanted to raise some, and so here we are.
I have always liked the Rhd. Reds, but he wanted to get some Australorps.....never have raised them before. They will turn out all black and have a green sheen. Chickens are...
