I bought this frizzle EE a couple months ago, and I'm starting to believe it's a rooster. Can someone confirm before I rehome?

Is broody contagious? Just found my other EE in the same box as one of my BCM. The EE laid her egg and the BCM tried to put it under herself 🥴

Ugh what do I do? We cannot hatch any eggs this year. My husband agreed to 5 chickens in January when we started...we have 23🫣🙃😅 he'll off me over chicks right now 🤣🤣

My EE has been walking around with her feathers puffed up and like growling as she walks around the yard. Twice in the last 24 hours I've caught her sitting on the ceramic egg in the nesting box, all puffed up. She's only been laying for a month or so, could she be broody? I've checked for...

Do they so that early on? She just started laying last week🥴

That's not her coop or nesting box. She just likes to squeeze her big butt in there, and that coop is pretty dark. I don't think she seen it until it cracked 🫣😅 she's been sitting in that nesting box all week, I'm not sure why.

It's a pale brown/pink color, and she lays super dark. She's a bcm. I think my Brahma may have laid her first egg, and old big booty Judy there sat on it and broke it. 🫣😂

My daughter went out to check the chicken boxes, and found this in the middle of the yard. She said it was already cracked. It's super veiny..should I be concerned? We currently have 2 laying BCM (and the 3rd possibly started? We're getting 2 bcm eggs a day), and 2 EEs (1 blue egg, 1 green)...

My EEs started between 21 and 22 weeks. My first BCM started today at 24 weeks 6 days 😊 still waiting on my brahmas (23 weeks)
