So my hen just hatched a few eggs and babies are in brooding box (she is still sitting on 8). What do I need to give to the babes to prevent disease? We have always bought them at a hatchery.

We mixed the last of our chick feed in with the new bag of layer thinking we still had another month before the hens layed. Except now our banty started laying this week. HELP PLEASE..do we need to get rid of all this feed and just give layer? How long must we wait to be able to eat the eggs for...
