When one of my girls started molting there was no doubt-the yard looked like it had snowed in June, there were so many feathers on the ground! Also the feathers come out very easily by the handful.

Come on, it's ok, they are a little bit ugly. They have very tiny almost non-existent combs. They're 5 months old. I thought Buckeyes too but I read somewhere these days they were pretty rare.

Eve and Eve are five months old. Sold to me at 2 days old as Buff Orpingtons. They are obviously not. Medium sized, flighty, late to mature. They are also super ugly. To me they look like an RIR cross. Any thoughts?
