Yep, ducks need nest boxes. The difference is that they need to be on the floor and they don't need to be enclosed. Just a square box on the floor with some type of nesting material (I just use hay). Congrats on your ducks!!!

Silver Appleyards grow really fast. They are almost full size in 2 months!! Not sure they will fit in a bathroom for a few months!

Hi all. I just joined BackYard Chickens. We have Buff, Blue, and Splash Orpingtons and Silver Appleyard ducks on our farm. That's in addition to our alpacas, cows and horses. Oh, and dogs and a cat. I'm happy to be here and see what I can learn! And what I can share.

Does anyone know where I can get egg cartons that fit the huge duck eggs? I have seen other posts where everyone suggests www.eggcartons.com but they do not ship to Canada. I need to find something that is in Canada. Thanks!
