Introducing new chickens to a flock

Hi all, Tomorrow I'm getting three new chickens to add to my four. The current chickens I have are all bantams, though different breeds. Pekin/Cochin bantams and a Wyandotte, which one cross, which are all smaller than the usual chickens. The three I'm getting tomorrow are bigger than those...

Our current hens are just little bantams and haven't actually laid yet so any eggs would be a blessing

how do you tell how old a chicken/hen is?

Yes, the one on the left, is a cockerel. The seller told me they have smaller combs because of the breed?

how do you tell how old a chicken/hen is?

I've been told by someone my hens are 6 months to a year, but none of them have laid one egg yet. Then yesterday I was told they look way younger than that, and you can tell by the size of their combs? How do you roughly tell the age of a chicken?

    Taming a less tame chicken?

I've started offering her small treats, and although a little skittish around me, she actually ate out my hand which was great! Thank you :)

    Taming a less tame chicken?

My little Wyandotte, isn't incredibly fond of being handled, and doesn't really like coming anywhere near me. So, any ways I can help tame her. Oh she's just under a year old

So I just bought 3 hens and a cockerel...

Are there any crosses I can make between species to make the next generation still sort of a smaller chicken, but lay better eggs?

Ah right, yes I wasn't fully aware when I bought them, as I sort of wanted a starter breed? As soon as possible I'm planning to add some better egg layers in
