Thank you Chickengirl and your family for your hospitality. We all enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed meeting everyone. I was able to take home a good assortment of birds to add to my ever-growing flock. Thank you Gramma for helping my kids twist my arm and take home a couple of Boskelli's bunnies...

I have two for you. Only issue I may have is making sure I grab the right birds since they are mixed in with several other breeds.

I will definitely have myself and 2 kids. May have wife and all 3 kids. I'm planning on bringing a pasta salad for the potluck. I am also planning to bring a couple of crates to sell and one for the raffle. I don't think I will have any birds available at the moment. I have turkey eggs that...

Last year I processed at 12 weeks and had weights as high as 8 lbs dressed. Typically they average around 6.5 - 7 lbs. The taste is amazing compared to commercial cornish breeds. A ton of flavor, and better texture.

I've been raising them for meat for the last 3 years. They are nice birds and do grow quickly, but I will not keep them for anything other than meat, at least not the roosters. They mature in about 12 weeks, and at that age they become rather aggressive with each other and with the hens. The...

Jim, I started out two years ago with a small coop and 32 chicks, 25 freedom rangers for the freezer and 6 buff orpingtons to raise for layers. I currently have 4 turkeys, 10 layer hens and a rooster. This year I have about 300 chicks on order. These critters are like Pringles, once you start...

These would be chicks, not eggs. I'm planning to go to chicken stock in May if you are interested in any. I can keep them until then.

Is there something specific you are looking for? Where are you located? I have a bunch coming in a couple of weeks that may have what you are looking for. Here's a list of what I'm getting. I could spare a 1-2 of each depending on what you wanted. Blk Australorps Aracauna White PlyRock SLW Buff...

I may be wrong, but I believe they only hatch out the breeds that are ordered, plus a few extras for eggs that fail to develop. I think that is why there is a roughly 4 week wait on them.

Will anyone have chicken saddles available this year? I need to find a couple for some of my hens. They are starting to show a little feather loss from my rooster's habits.
