Hello I'm new to this group as well as raising chickens. I have 6 silkies (2 are roosters) and have batted around the idea of raising more. Bought an incubator w/egg turner and placed only one egg into it. I did it all wrong too, never waited a full day for it to set, maybe had it operating...
