    I was Happy/Sad to find this thread on stomach issues after eating duck eggs! I had no problems eating duck eggs at first and I absolutely love the taste of them...richer and creamier is how i describe the taste. My first "symptom" appeared after 12 weeks...grumbling stomach, horrible gas...

    Good to know thank you. This is my first time raising ducks and I was so excited when they started laying and equally excited when we got our first "black" egg! You can only imagine my surprise when the "black" came off.Lol!

    Just got a black egg from one of my Cayuga's, however when I began cleaning it the Black came off! Is that normal? I know it wasn't mud or poop,I was cleaning it with a scrubby sponge and it just wiped off.
