Thanks everyone. My girls had a run in with a weasel a few nights back and it was a total loss. I'm starting from scratch with 15 chicks from Meyer Hatchery. I'm sooo nervous about them being shipping in the mail!!! Gah!! They will be here mid-May, we will see how it goes.

Shoot, I'm new to this and had my boxes in the coop the whole time. Is that bad? They are uncovered and have been roosting on the edges (at night they are on their roosting bars). They have started popping in them, so I need to figure out how to get them to NOT do that anymore. Quite a lot to...

Hello! I'm new to ND and even newer to having chicks! I live in Garrison and just got 6 barred rock chicks last weekend. I'm also looking to add a few more hens to the mix. Hoping for Easter Eggers, Wyandottes or Red Sex Link. Anyone have any for sale? I only want hens. Thanks in advance.
