Do gamey crosses still lay eggs? I’m not familiar with game chickens. She’s fluffy with not as fluffy as my other girls.

Hi! I have 8 hens. A few weeks ago 1 of my chickens went broody then another 2 and finally a 4th one a week or so later. I put them in a separate area for 3 days to have them stop the broodiness and it worked. (I’ve had to do this before in the past) But during the weeks of them being broody...

Thanks! These are my friends chickens so I’ll let her know about the ACV. That’s what I put in my chicken’s water too. She also said she didn’t see any mites or lice so must be some pecking going on.

From what I’ve seen the poop looks normal. No dewormer, they haven’t been treated for anything from what I know.

Hello! My friend has 8 chickens and 5 of them have red, bare backsides and bottoms. Could this be from bullying? And is there a way to treat it or prevent it from continuing? A couple have regrown feathers and some others are trying too but some are still very red and featherless. Photos posted...

Hello! I am helping a friend figure out what breeds these 2 chickens are. The first chicken in the photos looks to maybe be a brown leghorn?? She didn’t buy one though. The gray chicken, no idea. Here is a list of chick breeds she bought - moss eggers, olive eggers, & prairie bluebells. Thanks!! 🙃

Thank you! This is a good idea. I had golf balls and removed them around the time she started laying again the first time so I’ll put them back and hopefully that’ll help. :)

I have checked the yard but like you said it’s very possible I missed the nest so I will be looking again. The handful of other times she’s laid this year has been in the nesting box though, so bizarre.
