Can someone who has raised the redbro/redranger meat chickens tell me if you get the large amount of white breast meat that you get from the normal white broiler meat bird. If not, do you still get more meat from there breast than a heritage meat chicken?

So I am going to be switching to nipple waterer in a 5 gallon bucket. Can someone tell me how to get my chickens to use them? I am afraid they will just die of thirst unless they figure it out.

Nice run. I wonder if I made my next run with roof panels and used wood chips if I could get the same results. Results being clean eggs lol. I really want to use those wood chips in my garden.

Never thought of using sand. My only problem with sand is that if the run is very big at all I would have to hall lots of heavy sand to the site. Plus I wanted to use my wood chips for the garden. Don't think sand is the best option for me but its an idea.

So if incubate my eggs in the winter they should be fertile as long as my rooster is ok and I don't have too many hens on him. I only have 7 hens. Do you think my eggs will be fertile?
