I am in fact trying to figure out how to start a poultry club in our area. We are close to San Antonio, Texas so any suggestions, help, reference, and so on would be greatly appreciated. I would love to have a club and bring a show to our area. We don't have any close and we have quite a few...
I have a friend that is incubating eggs for the first time. She placed them in yesterday. When she went to turn them today she noticed the shells went from an almost white color to a darker cream color. Anyone know what could cause this? It's a homemade incubator and she is manually turning...
I don't know why but our birds don't molt as much as I see in the many pics posted on the www. Guess this summer we will try and set up some way to keep them cooler

Crossing my...
I want to know how you can tell that the Phoenix is a pullet? We have 11 golden Phoenix bantams and I'd like to know what to look for as they grow to tell male from female. It's driving us crazy trying to see any difference. We have all golden but some are super brown and range to very light...
I know this is an d thread and hoping for a possible reply. I have golden Phoenix chicks from boggy bottoms and was wondering if there is any way to guess their gender at a very young age? Some have the blue feet, some are light in color and some are darker some have a stripe all the way down...
