    Ducks stuck flying?

I have 8 mallards - ordered them as day-olds, they spend most of the day in my yard/pond (getting fed) and most nights in the neighbors yard/pond (they sometimes have Canadian geese). They can fly and will often fly over the split rail fence to get to the neighbors and back or to get away from...

Help with wrapping for Angel Wing

Thanks, I ended up just keeping him... actually her isolated for a few days, most of her wing tip feathers were so badly damaged that she had to regrow them all, she ended up being a really late flier but now she's just as good as the rest of them!

Duck issues and need some help!

if you can get close enough to the mallards and see if they are missing one of their back toes then they are not wild ducks. Mallards are like 2.5 lbs where most other domestic ducks are like 7lbs or more. So if the mallards are similar in size they are Rouen, you can also have your mallards...

I started with 11 tiny ducklings in a super large tupperware bin and now they have taken over my dd baby crib and are fast out pacing that! We've lost 2 so far, the first only a few days...

Help with wrapping for Angel Wing

Thanks Duck Drover, When you say paper tape do you mean like masking tape or painters tape? and its OK right on the wing? These are just pet/pond scum eaters, and maybe breakfast makers (i.e. eggs). If I end up with babies it will be an accident LOL! Thanks again, Natalie

Help with wrapping for Angel Wing

Hi, I am new to ducks, we have 9 - 5 week old mallards, they are all doing pretty well so far, however one has angel wing on one side, I've decreased the amount of protein, get them outside whenever possible, take them for walks when weather permits (we got 3 inches of snow yesterday so they...
