Help! Chicken picking on WHOLE flock.
I have 6 pullets I raised this spring together. They are a mixed breed bunch. 2 ISA Browns, 2 Wyandots, 1 Brahama, and 1 Rhode Island Red.
I noticed that all the chickens except for one had feathers plucked from her back. Some of them have feAthers pluked...
I have had two chickens just up and die on me this year. No clue why. They were healthy one day and dead the next. They were a year old.
I am not paying for a necropsy.
I just bought vitamin E, B complex, and Selenium that I read in another post on here to treat her with.
Did u watch the video, Suzie? Do u think that's what she has?
My chicken started flopping her head around and she's uncoordinated. She stumbles backwards. She runs into things. She hasn't eaten in a long time. I have been giving her water with electrolytes in it with a syringe.
She just wants to sleep all the time.
I was reading about all the diseases...
I'm thinking it might not be Marek's because she has no paralysis and her pupils look fine.
She can walk around a little but she stumbles. She can stand. Her comb is pale. Her crop is empty. Her feathers all look good. She doesn't try to eat at all.
She's a fighter. I hope she can pull...
If it's Marek's then there is nothing to do for her????
The weird thing is last night she slept standing up. She's been laying down and then she stood sleeping for 12+ hours.
She has had no vaccinations.
I dont see how she could get botulism. All their feed is nice and clean.....no stagnant water in their coup....no dead animals.
She's had the symptoms for about five days, she isn't eating. I offered the scrambled eggs this morning. She hasn't touched them.
One of my Buff Orphington pullets (9 months old) is lethargic. She can't hold her head up. She tries to stumble around a little. Separated her from the rest of the flock. She finally pooped and it looks like the pic. Also the poop smells REALLY weird. I can't describe it. She has never been...
I have six ISA Browns. They are a year old.
One got sour crop. I brought her in the house and nursed her. She got better and I put her back in the coop with her buddies. WELL APPARENTLY THEY WERENT HER BUDDIES ANYMORE! Two days later she had a bloodied comb. :( I wasn't keeping a close eye on...
