My peafowl have never made noise unless it is quiet

I had a small quail who lived alone then one day a patridge turned up in my garden and wouldnt leave i picked him up and put him with my quail even though he was much bigger but they got on along just fine and they were in a small house so a big run should be good for them

My peafowl and chicken live in a big enclosure together and get along perfect. They also live with rabbits. The peacock will try to scare of cats and rats for the other animals. My peafowl dont pick on any of the chicken or fight my rooster. Also i had chicks and the peacock looked after them well.

I have a peacock he is ok bieng free ranged and will only fly away is frightened and thats the same for my peahen

I brought a peacock from a farm of 2 peacocks and 1 peahen and i got my peahen from another farm with loads of peacocks and at both farms they got along well and so are mine now they both sleep by each other and take care of the other animals

I set up mouse traps but we had so many mice but then i brought a peacock and the mice suddenly disapeared:-D

Yes get 2 or 3 roos to go with ure flock but make sure they have enough room Heres a pic of my rooster

I have my peafowl mixed with my chickens and rabbits and they all get along just fine

My rooster isnt housed any different to my hens they all sleep together an are kept warm by my rooster

It shouldnt matter on the breed of the rooster as long as its not an aseel one as they fight different species of chicken so i hear but u should probably get one around the same age of ure hens

Roosters are great ive got 1 and he really takes care of my hens peafowl and rabbits. He stands out of the hens and makes my flock more colourful You should get more then 1 Last year my rooster and 1 of my hans got 3 chicks
