Yes I recently had added 3 more, I wiped his eyes and tried and the ointment, he got his eyes open and was eating and doing much better, but his lungs sounded awful. He fought for a while but this morning I had found that he had sadly passed away. Fortunately is see no signs of my other chickens...

Broody hens are the best incubators! they know what they’re doing and are very committed (silkies especially)

My 😥rooster has raspy sounding lungs, he can’t open his eyes, he’s sneezing, has nasal discharge, and smells of infection. I had one hen die but she was actually gasping for air and she died a few hours after I noticed it.

I have 2 broody hens sitting on at least 30 eggs in the same box, they have been sitting for abt 2 weeks. I have 4 other hens plus 2 roosters with them. Should I just let them do their thing?
