Need some guidance here....our Buff orpington hen hatched out her first clutch of eggs, 9 total hatched.... the first week I had her separated from the rest of the flock and everyone did super she seemed like a great protective mother, babies were lively and thriving..... so I decided to start...

Its a joyous Christmas in August here at our farm, one of our Buffs or Runners layed their first egg sometime between 7pm and 10am this morning :-) Its about the size of a medium/large chicken egg....very dirty of course ;-) Now what do YOU guys do with your eggs and shells? how do you wash them...
