I have some in the incubator due to hatch today. One pipped but doesn't appear to be moving. I believe he/she died. I hope the rest hatch fine.

This is my standard Speckled Sussex Rooster, He is two years old. I haven't found a name for him yet.

I figured out that even though he had a touch of frostbite, that wasn't his major problem. His knee was swollen and hot. It has gone down and he is walking on it some now. I have no idea of how he injured it.

Anyone near central Michigan that can rehab a rooster? I have a white laced red cornish rooster that needs special care. He was brought in from our barn because he was having trouble walking. He stands up on one foot but won't put the other one down to stand on or walk. He is alert and eats...

I just noticed that my rooster is walking funny and feet are stiff and wont bend at all. I brought him in the house . I thought maybe it is from the extreme cold we've been having.It was 15-20 below la night. Any ideas? I don't really have money for a vet but will call them. his feet are...

I saw some in the feed store that layed flat out and didn't move when others walked all over it. I thought for sure it was dying. Then all of a sudden it got up and ran off like nothing was wrong. Too funny.

This is my speckled sussex rooster. I also have a barred rock rooster and a white laced red cornish rooster. I don't have any good pictures of the other two yet.

I've been happy with all the chicks I bought from tsc. The one near our house is getting them at the end of this month. I just bought some from Family Farm and Home the other day. They only have two breeds in so far hut I'm going to go back each wek when they get more in.

I'm hoping to hatch out some that can be meat birds eventually. They are only in the barn because it is winter and I didn't want them to have to deal with the harsh cold we've been having. They will be back outside come spring. And their cage will be cleaner soon too.

Here are some pictures of my white laced red cornish hens, not the best pictures but they wouldn't hold still. I hatched one of their eggs out but sadly the chick died during the night. I'm going to keep trying though.

I just had one of two eggs hatch out. They are Barred rock/white laced red cornish.

I have 8 eggs of various mixed breeds in the incubator. Some are at 5 days and some are younger.
