The flock ebbs and flows, but my sugar plum Comfort continues to live up to his namesake.

I am not positive which lines he is, but knowing who has celadon birds in the area I would guess an Alchemist/Kansas City cross.

Celadon (Blue Egg) Coturnix quail roo *FREE*

This little guy is about 12 weeks old. He is Tibetan colored with white "whiskers", so is probably actually a tuxedo. He is homozygous for the celadon gene. I'm rehoming him because I've come to the conclusion that I have too few hens (four) and too small of hutch for him to safely stay with my...

**CAUTION** Do NOT purchase from Rocky Hammock Farm!

UPDATE! Five weeks later, I finally received the refund back in my account. Still no response to any of my emails. At least I am not out the money, but what a pain it has been.

**CAUTION** Do NOT purchase from Rocky Hammock Farm!

I have had great experiences getting hatching eggs from Omega Hills Farm, Alabama Silkies, and even a small, almost local, breeder, with pretty decent hatch rates. I have gotten better with my technique each time too. This last hatch was 5 out of 7 shipped eggs! I try to get local, but living...

**CAUTION** Do NOT purchase from Rocky Hammock Farm!

I don't want anyone else to get scammed like I did! I tried to purchase hatching eggs via the website for Rocky Hammock Farm. I placed the order online, got a confirmation email, and waited to hear about a ship date, which was supposed to be within seven days. After ten days I sent an email...

Dahlia tubers and potted bearded iris

I have several varieties of dahlia tubers and potted bearded iris for sale. Neither are bothered by the deer here in Ryderwood, and that's saying something! The irises are well started and ready to plant. A few even have flower stalks started. Below are the varieties I have, a brief description...

Bielefelder cockerel in WA - hatched 2/21/20

No worries EggSighted4Life! Achieving and maintaining a standard is a good goal. I just keep my little flock for fun and eggs. Honestly, I have never even looked at the SOP for Bielefelders. I just loved the color, the egg production, and the personality.
