I have 3 backyard chickens and found thi site very helpful.[/[ I am a fellow Albertan looking to purchase 3-5 heritage chickens in June. Could you share which type of chickens you have, for how long you have had them and how you have found the experience so far?

We live on 5 acres in the county of Wetaskiwin, Alberta. I have recently retired and am excited to embark on a new adventure. I hope to purchase 3-5 laying hens in June and can't wait until it's spring and I can start getting our chickens home set up for them.
