Hey, was wondering if anyone could help me work out what breed/cross my rooster is. I rescued him from my village and he's wonderful but all she knew was that he was a Pekin Bantam. I thi nk he's a bit of a mix. Any idea's?
Hi,
They are very cute, I'm already so attached to them and yes I got them as straight run. I'm hoping the chick in photo 3 is the only cockerel by sheer luck. Just a shame I'd already named them and number 3 just happens to be "Dolly Parton", may have to change it to "Wally Parton" I think
Which one? Photos are three separate chicks, sorry should've been clearer. Hopefully not all three. I think maybe the one in the bottom photo could be as his crop is getting redder and its very fiesty compaired to the other two.

Hi All, my chicks are still only six weeks old so it is probably too soon to tell but I am starting to notice differences between them. It could just be me as I never raised from chicks before. Am I imaging it? Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks everyone for your responses, you've been really helpful and this is fast becoming my favourite website . I will definitely be posting updated photo's into the "What Breed or Gender is This?" forum when they are a bit older. I'm so attached to them already so am keeping my fingers crossed...
Hi All, I've seen other posts about this but could do with some expert advice. I have 4 week old BO's and have no clue if they're hens or Roo's. Any idea's appreciated.
