Thanks. Yes i have built a nice run and very secure but i still let them out everyday. They love to get out and scratch around. Im torn between keeping them couped up but being more secure and letting them be free to roam.

Thank you. He just showed up one day and lived in the woods during the night. We became buddys and he actually got to stay in the house on a stick at night for a bit. It didnt take me long to build a coup because he would crow every morning at 4:30am. Thanks again

I started out with a small rooster that showed up out of nowhere. He became a pet. Against my wifes advice i got 10 hens. Ultimately she was right that something would end up getting him trying to defend the hens. 2 dogs got him. I still have 5 hens that are about 3 now and are still laying...

My little buddy i had finally got taken out by some mean dogs. He was part of the family. I have a funny video of him attacking a fake rooster when he came in the house one day.
