My wife and I just set our first hatch today, Chickens and Turkeys. about 100 eggs.

I always give the first dozen away for free and if they like them they can come back for more after that its $2.50 a dozen about to go to $3 dollars even. So far I cant keep eggs at home they go as fast as the chickens lay them.

On the red broilers how many bags of feed in 12 weeks did they consume for you all ? Are they an active bird or are they like the cornish x rocks there just like a rock in the pen ? do you know if they are heat tolerent ? (can they survive 100+ degerre weather with shade and a mister system)
