    The show is March 23rd, and as far as I know the only guideline as far as raising them is that we have to order them through the show.

    It is definitely NOT clean water. You have no idea what is in the water, or what is on the ground. At least you can go shovel your way out of the snow, you can't get out of a hurricane (most of the time).

    Yes, there is quite a bit of flooding, my whole front yard is a swamp. We are doing pretty well, we have a a few tornado warnings, but none touchdown yet. We also haven't had a power outage, and fingers crossed we won't.

    It looks like Houston is pretty bad right now. I am in college station (about 45 mins- 1 hour outside of houston) and here we are supposed to get 20 plus inches of rain. My chickens look horrible as they are wet, but they have an area that they can stay dry, if they wanted.

    I was just wondering, how high chickens can actually fly? I sometimes free range my chickens, but I am always out there when I do. I was wondering if they would be able to fly over the 6 foot fence...
