I agree on the "DH needs to grow up" part. We have done a lot of work on the house and property, and most of it at his discretion, because it was something he wanted (ie, concrete floor in the garage, paved driveway, etc). I won't say these aren't improvements, but they haven't made much...

Thank you everyone, for your replies. I will get some medicated feed asap. The brooder is pretty big at this point, with a heat lamp at only one end, and on these really hot days I've been turning it off completely during the day. It's possible that it's still been too much for the meaties...

I'm really fed up and frustrated this year. My cornish x chicks from Welp keep dying suddenly. They're two weeks old, don't look ill, no pasty butt, lethargy, etc, but almost every day I find at least one dead. This morning I found three. They don't seem to be growing particularly fast...

Do you use the Premier 4000 for sheep and/or llamas? I know they will have to be pretty heavy duty.

I have about had it with non-electric devices for trimming my llamas. I have used hand shears and various scissors, etc. If I was to invest in a good electric clipper that can handle the thick, burr-filled fleece of three llamas, what brand/model should it be? Any thoughts, suggestions, etc?
