Ideas for Low Wattage water heating and low maintenance feeding

I thought I would share some ideas for a feeder and waterers I have been using that serve me well on time, and have saved me some $$ on the electric bill. Its winter here in upstate NY and of course freezing water is a big issue. I am also one who is always looking to save on the electric bill...

Free 6 month Serama Roos (Orange County, NY 10916)

I have about 5 Serama Roos that need to go to a good home. I am not opposed to them becoming food. They just need to go somewhere where they can be useful. I have too many Roos in one pen and they are starting to peck each others tail feathers. The pics show the general population and the...

Hi All! Can you help me ID these Bantams? :)

Thanks! That was super fast. These Bantams are some seriously friendly birds. They are easy to grab and are not to eager to take off once you have them in hand. Nice birds!

    Readjust time after environment disturbance?

My 10 Light Brahma hens who are about 8 months old were almost all laying daily. I was getting on avg 8-9 per day. I knew I would get some backlash if I moved things around and I did. I tore their nesting boxes up and rebuilt better ones so that they could have more room to move around at night...
