Adding an Urban Egg 3 Hole Rollaway nesting box to our coop would be just the thing our flock needs! We have 21 birds at the moment, but that doesn't include the 4 chicks with their mother nor the 30 chicks in the incubator!! We are about to have an even fuller house so more nesting boxes...
Most are Batman, I think the Polish are Standard sized.
And we have decided to rehome our boys!! Free to good home is the Silkie boy (BreanneRN), the Golden Laced Polish, the Buff Laced Polish and the Millie Fluer D'Uccle. I am located in Southern Oregon, please call or text if interested or...
Just realized how that sounded! "I will let you know" Sorry! If he turns out to be the same feisty small cockerel that he is showing to be at this age you are welcome to him! I will let you know either way how he turns out... Thanks for the interest in him!
Yours looks like he could be frizzled! I would be jealous if he turns out to be! Is he 6 weeks or 10 weeks? (I posted pics of mine at the both ages ;))
Hmmmm you're right! I was hopeful because I have always loved frizzles and hoped to breed a sizzle one day! Oh well.... maybe hatching eggs of of BYC soon!
Haha same! Does he appear frizzle to you? He looked like he could be at around 6 weeks but it seems to be fading now... I have no experience with Cochins! Is this how they normally look at 6 weeks?
So I have heard! I thought it was just when you cross two frizzles together because the frizzle gene will double up or something and then cause health problems?
And I will keep you in mind :-)
Haha!! I have no idea what I'm going to do with all of them yet! If all roosters were content with 2 hens and didn't care about sharing space I would just keep them all! They are so cute... :love
If you don't mind me asking.. why 6? (In my inexperienced opinion, he is the least cute! Lol!)
I always thought that it was a patridge that just had a copy of the silver gene since my pullet did look like a patridge as a baby just with a gray undertone... but as adults they certainly don't look anything like patridges so I really have no clue!
