Alot we do is under the cover of darkness. Permits etc? Fish and game cannot always come to our aid. If you are not going to terminate this possum, find a good place and release it....period! Do not have to say anything to anybody!

We have used the electric poultry fencing for past 6 years. I use it only for day grazing. When I utilized on a larger area with a larger flock, we put in LGDS specially for the chickens. Short answer: raccoons and other predators are highly intelligent! Do not count on your fencing. Good luck!!

This sounds exactly what happened on our property last year! I doubled the chicken wire including 2 foot apron on ground..both sides of fence and pens. I already use flight netting because of owls and hawks. I had traps set everywhere, went to motion detecting and dogs. IT was fearless...

You can use a humane type trap and physically relocate. Or you can trap and permanently "relocate". Make no mistake, they do eat chickens!
