    Success Stories of Limping Chickens

How is your hen with the limp doing? I have a girl who just started limping for no reason (that I can see), and I'm also looking for some hope.

    Olive Egger Pullet? 13 weeks

It's so hard waiting! I started noticing Olive was a little more "Oliver-y" around 8 weeks old, but I wanted to wait and see a little longer than that...so maybe there's still hope that you have a little lady! We'll keep our fingers crossed that you still get the pretty green eggs 😊

    Olive Egger Pullet? 13 weeks

He is indeed a little man...and a handsome one at that! I was able to rehome him with a farm friend who sends me updates on him frequently 🙂 It was the best outcome I could've hoped for. All the others have been girls thank goodness!

Sorry to keep reposting Sadie's mean mug, I think I mightve figured out the right pixel ratio. I'm sorry, I'm a chicken tender/baker, computers confuse me 😅

    Olive Egger Pullet? 13 weeks

Olive(r) is 16 weeks today and still no crowing or fighting with my older roos, so as long as he behaves himself he has a home. It's odd though, his comb hasn't gotten any bigger and I'm having a hard time seeing the hackle/saddle feathers from the barring. I'm apparently still in the denial...

8 week old Blue Breasted Brown Leghorn Pullet?

I reckon just to update, he is indeed a little roo. I tried to integrate my young ones in with the older flock last week and he instantly took to fighting with one of my 2.5 year old roosters. I rehomed him, and while in was in the transport box I heard him crow for the first time 😖 No white...

    Olive Egger Pullet? 13 weeks

They were 8 weeks old. I knew the price was pretty steep, but I already have 2 roosters so it was worth it to guarantee pullets. I should've known better 😔

    Olive Egger Pullet? 13 weeks

@Rein Thank you, I paid $30 a bird for guaranteed pullets to avoid this...now I just feel stupid, lol I'll include a picture of all the other pullets, that way if y'all see any other roos I can just rip the daid off quick 🥲

    Olive Egger Pullet? 13 weeks

Nooooooo. The worst part is, I believe he gets them from Privett and their website says that the Olive Eggers are sexable. I can't believe out of 7 "pullets" I've had 2 roos....so far! If you'll excuse me, I need to go cry myself to sleep

    Olive Egger Pullet? 13 weeks

Hey y'all! I have another questionable pullet on my hands. I bought 7 8-week old pullets from the same breeder, one already turned out to be a little Leghorn cockerel so now I'm a little paranoid about all of them. I don't know if I can trust the age, breed, or gender, so I figured maybe y'all...
