They need a heat lamp for a source of heat...but make sure that they have enough room to get away from it if they are too warm so they don't suffocate. A wood stove in the same room would not be a good heat source for them. Hope this helps
House is all built 10'x12' insulated barn...and no they will not be just left to live on their own in the pond. I plan to fence the perimeter and close them in at night. Well looks like TSC will be getting an ear full if that is the case. Thank you for the info and advice!
