Yyaaaayyyy! Thanks all, we hatched HER from the egg and was the only one that survived so we hoped against all odds it was a girl so we didn't have to consider other options... I hope you're all right x

This is our 6 to 8 week old chick, think the rooster is a white Australorp and the hen smaller and not so quiet, don't think she is australorp... It is an orphan and don't have any siblings to compare to.... Help please! Thanks

Whew, I'm glad it may work... I have been moistening the membrane with cotton wool and have some just moist cotton over the hole to try to prevent drying. Fingers crossed...
