we just bought a sofa and loveseat at a thrift store for $15 and while recovering them I bought a used sewing machine on CL for $20, not knowing anything about it... it turns out it was a swiss ELNA and i've had 3 people offer me hundreds to get it just in the last month.

I got a Duncan Phyfe Dining table from someone's trash that has been appraised at $3000. Also a rare dresser from the sixties made by the west michigan furniture company valued at about $800. I drove about 80 miles with it tied to the top of my mazda3. people must've thought I'd lost my mind...

She is about 12weeks old and is at the very bottom of the pecking order, when i went out to feed them yesterday she was sitting right behind the door to the house in the grass and the others were walking right over her. i picked her up thinking she may have survived some sort of predator...

Also illegal, if I owned more than 1 acre i could legally own up to four hens but no roo. i own .15 of an acre and have 8 hens and 2-3 roos(still not sure about 1). the meter readers who jump my back fence haven't turned me in yet and my neighbors don't mind the roosters. it's been 2 years now...

they should love grape vines, oyster plants, and dwarf bananas. anything with watery filled leaves. i can barely keep the leaves on mine.
