3 separate teachings are found there. OT: centuries of patriarchs walking with God. NT: maybe 60 years of teachings. Jesus taught to follow the patriarchs in all ways.
Paul taught contrary to Jesus.
Sadly, Extreme majority of modern churches follow Paul.

I don’t follow churches. I follow Jesus. My church is my home. Or really anywhere I am. I feel like all churches I’ve visited have some sort of hypocritical view or tradition.
Like celebrating Halloween. Which I don’t do. I thank God for the seasons and his creations like pumpkins that come out at that time.
When people glorify and idolize anyone other than the most high it is the wrong path.
Ooooo Hamlet! Yes! I love to read. I have a small child so I don’t get to read much of what I’d like. I am the Mom, teacher, nurse, etc... No offense to other people and how they chose to live but I believe it’s my job to love, teach, and take care of my blessing.
And these days when a child is dropped off at a school it’s much worse than when I was a kid.
