There is no "wild type" Brahma. you would have to go out of the breed. Which you may have to do. Are there wild type Cochins? Doubtful since Brahmas & Cochins are genetically similar.
The pyle is probably a blue based splash & the bso also has blue genetics, so you could get a splash of some sort if you bred them together. I am not a genetic wiz though. Try it. See what you get. It can't hurt & you might come up with a cool color combo. Afterall, that's how most colors were...
Splash & pyle are not the same thing genetically speaking, although I see a lot of ppl calling splash 'Pyle'in the US. That's because brahmas do not have wild type coloring, so ppl use partridge.
I have moved & have sold a lot of my birds, but I will have more Laced Brahmas in the near future. I'm on facebook more than on here these days. If you'd like to keep up with my birds & I, my FB page is called Beach Bum Biddies. PM me if you have questions.
@cmom... what is the average price you get at the Barberville swap? I have some really nice birds but am moving & want to sell most, if not all, of my adult birds. I also have some juveniles I need to sell. Any info is appreciated. :)
I'm in Palm Coast, about an hour eat of you. I raise quality large fowl Brahmas, Orps, & Polish. My facebook page is Beach Bum Biddies. I also post on the Daytona Craigslist. PM me if you have any questions. Thanks!

@speckledhen I've heard that as well about FB. I luckily haven't had any ads flagged..yet. I also sell eggs on ebay. I'm seriously thinking about not selling chicks anymore because the USPS doesn't seem to care that they're handling live animals. I & many others this year have lost a LOT of...
@speckledhen Sorry for the late reply..I am not on here much anymore. Seems like almost everyone is on Facebook now. I have better sales there, unfortunately. I hope you & yours are doing well. :)
Thanks! I sell hatching eggs & chicks. Eggs are $65/ dozen plus $15 shipping. I've had excellent hatch rates on my shipped eggs. Chicks are $20 each plus $55 shipping. I have a 6 chick min to ensure their safety during shipping. PM me if you're interested or have any questions. :)
