This feeder is good for many chicks. The problem with it is if you do not keep it completely full all the time, the chicks will crawl through and possibly get stuck. My chicks went completely through.
This product is pretty simple. My only problem is that it has three filler holes in the bottom, so it is nearly impossible to turn it over without spilling a little water.
These feeders are very nice. The clear plastic sides are held up from the top only, so the feed evenly moves into the trough. My only problem with this product was when it is empty, my chickens always knock it apart. I think the trough spins too easily. Not a problem if you keep it full like it...
This product is pretty good, but a little small for my needs. My flock of 9 chickens uses pretty much all of the water in it every day. It is hard to clean, but not annoying.
