the ones from the incubator are 6/$20 and you gotta take all 6
the ones with their Moms are $5 each you can take 1 or all of each hatch. mostly pieds.

I have 9 turken/naked neck chicks (some are feather necks it happens in the best of families) hatched about a week. I have 6 standard rhode island red chicks out of a flock that gets shown as well as used for egg production also about a week old.
So I have a total of 15 chicks...
I like leghorns, but white is boring as all get out....plus everyone's got'em!
Anyone got any blacks or reds (not brown) out there?? brown leghorns up here get confused with some other breeds and it's hard to convince folks otherwise...

I had some that came from a guy in NC I think....they were so much tamer than my black sumatras. and they laid brown eggs unlike the blacks....I took a temp job out of state and left them w/someone to babysit, and none survived the stay there.

Polish crested, nice quality on most of them BUT the colors of the parent birds were mixed, i.e. some were blue, some were black w/black crest, some were golden laced..........quite a few blue chicks. $7 each well started outside w/o heat or lights. or 6/$30

I have quite a few newly hatched guinea keets, pearls, pieds and lavenders. all my colors are run together this year, so even if you got all pearls, you will likely get a few of the fancies hatching next year.
