we have moved the eggs into the 'incubator' and so far only one has hatched completely...on has had a peep hole open all day and chirps but is not making headway...2 seem to not be moving now at all...no other movement from any that have starter cracks....does this mean that they have died...

on side and turn or narrow end down and spin around or narrow end down and flip to broad end then back to narrow??? can't seem to find a page with enough info. thanks ya'll!

hi! i have 3 regulars that have stopped laying. no change in food-they get pellets & free range during the day. also my spring roos started crowing last week-shouldn't the spring hens be laying now too?

can someone direct me to which area or where i can learn about different things to look for with my eggs-as far as if they are still good, what it means to find trace of blood in a cracked egg, etc.? thanks to anyone who can help me!

hi, i'm new to this whole forum thing and to having chickens. we have 6 hens and 1 young roo. will acquiring an older roo help produce more eggs? 2 hens are a little over a year, 3 are just coming into laying and 1 is about 4 mos. old (same as roo). i am getting 1 lg lgt brwn egg every day...
