big winter storm warnings in St. Louis since yesterday. this morning, my 2.5 month pullets wouldn't leave their coop into their cage (Chicken tractor) despite same temperature, wind, light and lack of precipitation as yesterday and they come out at daybreak every day since I've allowed them...
I'm thinking my first and highest roost will be a foot from the front wall of my 3.5X3.5 ft coop.
how far away must the next roost bar be so hens don't poop on other hens?
I live in a duplex in St. Louis, MO. my neighbors will let me put a chicken tractor in their back yard. my friends Greg and Sally will help me build the coop and hatch some americuanas or other laying chicks.
