Hello all! I've read a lot here on fowl pox and I think my chicken may have the dry type. I live in Fl and mosquitoes are always bad this time of year.. My question is if the eggs are ok to eat? The girls are ok, the one that has it has been broody, so I think the mosquito s got her... Otherwise...
Ruby Rah Rah my RIR laid her first egg today at 22 weeks old!! It's the biggest egg I've ever seen!! Lol! I gave her some worms and told her to take a nap after that one! The egg next to it is from Lovie my 22 week old Red Sex link... I'm so happy for me and my girls!!

I missed having chickens the last 7 years. So finally able to get back into it from my move. It's my first experience with chicks and 4 month olds!! I had no idea how much was involved!! : / thanks B YC family for all you all do!!
