Wilma seemed fine earlier today, but this evening she has yolk coming out of her messy vent and she doesn't seem to feel well. She didn't come out for treats!
She's laid soft shells before; do you suppose one broke inside her and can that harm her? Is there something I can do for her?
Betty has a bad case of dingleberry. I was hoping that would self-correct, but it hasn't so maybe I should give her a bath. Ugh!
It's freezing out, so I suppose she'll need a blow-dry too.

Betty and Wilma are crazy for wheat bread. You'd think they were starving, the way they go at it! They're about a month old. Is it okay for them to have bread now? They haven't shown much interest in egg, fruit or veggies, but they love bread, oats and corn meal.
