    Lethargic hen tapping the ground with a foot

    I have a Rhode Island Red that seems a little off lately. Her comb seems pale, she is acting a bit lethargic, and often she will stand and tap the ground twice with a foot. Any idea what might be the problem? I think this hen is about 3 years old now. George
